Rich's liife

Born in August in a Philadelphia suburb, Rich Haberle would eventually split his time between Philadelphia and Florida, and soon after attending University of Pennsylvania, settled in Fort Myers, Flordia. From a very young age, Rich was very compassionate, sensitive and hard working, traits he contributes to being the son of a single mother who worked tirelessly to ensure they never went without.  These traits echoed in his adult life where he dedicates most of his free time to charitable causes he cares strongly for, including animal welfare, protecting children from ACE's, and promoting equal access to justice. 

An overachieving lifetime learner, Rich always is looking for ways to challenge his intellect and learn new skills. More recently he's been focused on the science of well-being and the mastery of what constitutes the makings of "a good life".  

He has founded 3 start up companies, currently sits on two charitable boards of directors, three volunteer bar committees, and two executive advisory boards. 

His expansive philthrotropic efforts have landed him quite a collection of Public Service, Community Service, and Outstanding Service awards.  Rich also received the Florida Bar's Meritorious Public Service award and in 2019 the City interred a brick bearing his name into the foundation of one of his most joyous volunteer programs, Hope Clubhouse.  

When not working or volunteering, Rich can usually be found home with his beloved dog, Bambino, his cat, Chadwick, and his horse, Sassy.  He enjoys traveling and spending time building deep, personal relationships with his friend groups but he has often been cited as stating that the real crown jewel in his life is the bond he shares with his family, including a large network of inspirational aunts and uncles, a tight knit entourage of cousins, and of course his neices and nephews of whom he cherishes.
